This is the second book in the Farseer Trilogy and I’m am sad to say I didn’t enjoy it as much as the first.
We continue to follow the life of Fitz and his exploits around the Six Duchies. I found myself getting rather frustrated with the decisions Fitz was making and the relationships that were slowly disintegrating around him. I feel this novel could of been a few hundred pages shorter and done a much better job. The beginning was good and the end was excellent – the middle needed to be chopped down slightly!
All in all it was a fun (although lengthy) read and I would recommend to those who have
